R438 is a voltage regulator for Leroy Somer LSA industrial generator series provides excitation current up to 4 A, with excellent reliability for AREP and PMG excitation types. It includes advanced protections such as overexcitation limit and voltage sensor dropout, and also has voltage dropout for generator parallel operation. A Load Acceptance Module (LAM) is also included to handle load impact incidents.
